Grupo Capoeira Malês will begin holding classes at the Crystal
Dragon American Tae Kwon Do Academy located at 1368 Piney Green Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28546 this Saturday, October 3rd 2009. Our mission is to bring the exotic Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira
and the Brazilian culture to a broader audience in the Jacksonville and surrounding areas. Grupo Capoeira Malês, formerly Quilombo do Queimado is led by Mestre
Curisco and offers Capoeira Contemporânea, an intoxicating and fast-paced blend of self-defense, music and fluid movement, to anyone with
a desire to learn. We welcome all ages and skill levels.So whether you are just looking to get in shape, have fun or to become a serious Capoeirista
(practitioner of Capoeira) we have what you are looking for. Our instructor is highly qualified and will show you new ways
to push your mind and body to new limits, all the while developing self-respect, confidence, coordination, flexibility,
